My art is created from focused bursts of energy and my style is one of natural identity. The art flows through me as much as I flow through the world. The world flows through me as much as I flow through the art.
When it comes to painting, I feel each painting must be finished in a single sitting, alla prima, otherwise the feeling escapes me and the moment is lost—although I impose no limitations. My painting style is unique and defines me. I let the errors exist and embrace the randomness and chaos of the world. I do not fight against the art, but let it emerge naturally without forethought or planning. In a way I am a vessel, or an automaton, that the universe uses to create things that have never existed.
